Public Paranormal Investigations On occasion, public paranormal investigations are held at the John C Anderson Home. These events are advertised via our Facebook page. Private Paranormal Investigations Overnight investigations are from 8:00pm to 4:00am CST. The cost is $50 per person
with a minimum cost of $300. A $150 deposit is due at the time of booking, with the
remainder due once week before the reservation. Buildings on the grounds that are
included in the investigation are the house, the RaRerty Schoolhouse, and the Rural
Church.
We do not offer refunds, but it is possible to reschedule to another date within one
calendar year in the case of a conflict on the client’s end. Rescheduling will not be
oRered in the event of a cancellation one week or less before the event and will
result in the forfeiture of the deposit. In the rare event that the host must cancel a
reservation, a full refund or rescheduling will be offered. All guests must be at least
18 years old and sign a liability waiver and agreement to property rules before
entering.
The climate–controlled Ruyle building on the grounds is available for team use and
includes restrooms and a kitchen area with refrigerator, coRee maker, microwave,
and sink. One motel and several airbnb properties are located within Carlinville or
within a short distance.
